The room was spacious, but it smelled damp and had mould on the wall.

Just a great fit for shopping in Burford with extraordinarily good value for money. I had a very good steak with all the trimmings during my stay. Be aware of the outdoor access to rooms, as it can be tricky in bad weather.

Had a fab time here! The log fire made it super cozy, and the food was great—especially the steak pie. Plus, they remembered my name from my last visit! Dogs are welcome too, which was a nice touch if you're bringing your furry friend.

Amazing stay with great food!

Just visited for 1 night and wow, the hosts were super friendly right from the start. Had the best steak and ale pie for dinner. Breakfast was massive—def didn’t eat the rest of the day! Only thing was the shower could've been a bit better, but the cozy room totally made up for it.

We had a lovely one-night stay in a Standard Double Room. Dinner was outstanding. I highly recommend the sweet rose. The staff handled a tricky situation with calm and grace. For a great evening, be sure to ask about their wine selection!

The staff were genuinely friendly, making us feel welcome. The cooked breakfast was impressively tasty, especially the delicious pies served at the pub.

Burford feels quite lifeless at night, which was a disappointment.

This place perfectly suits my needs with lovely free wi-fi, a cozy bar and lounge, and a delicious breakfast. I still remember how the staff helped me find my lost bracelet during my first stay. Highly recommend!
